Unlike the previous A5-sized ZINE-style issues of BURNING MAGAZINE published from 2020 to 2024, this special edition will be a hardcover Coffee Table Book, a beautiful art book for a lifetime, co-published with the Belgian publishing company SNAP COLLECTIVE. The works of female photographers from both Japan and abroad, curated by Shiori Ota, the photographer and director of BURNING MAGAZINE, will be featured. This book will be guided by writings from writer and art curator Lina Nakayama, as well as photographer and writer Madeleine Ray, who also contributes as an artist, exploring the true perspectives and power of contemporary female photographers.
