写真家RYOの初個展を記念してBurning Magazine初企画のトークショーが8/22に開催されます。ゲストスピーカーは日本特有のグラビア業界で、モデルとしてその第一線を裸という武装で切り拓く渡辺万美をお迎えします。

8/22、kokoraw トークセッション HOW I GAZE ～ ヌードの先を切り拓く心眼 ～

日本特有のグラビア業界で、モデルとしてその第一線を裸という武装で切り拓く渡辺万美と、ヌードを介した写真表現を模索する瞭で、はだか談議を開催します。
美の定義、女性的視点を多方面から考察してきたクリエイティブコレクティブ、Burning Magazineによる今企画。

男が撮る女体と女が撮る女体、心と体、自己/クリエイティブ表現と性的搾取、個性を形作る心身と社会の美の基準。カメラの表と裏、それぞれの視点から裸と向き合う彼女たちの眼差し、それが切り拓く世界線について、ざっくばらんに、でも繊細に、紐解きます。

参加費 : ¥3,000 （展示鑑賞 、1ドリンク、参加者限定ポストカードを含む）

二〇名限定。

Bambi Watanabe, who has been on the head line in the Japanese gravure industry, and Ryo, who explores the phonographic expressions through nudity, are going to have a deep, fragile yet casual chat on nakedness. Presented by Burning magazine, a creative collective that has been examining the definition of beauty from various perspectives.

Photography of woman’s bodies shot by men & by women, mind & body, self/creative expression & sexual exploitation, and your mind and body that shape individual uniqueness & social beauty standards.
Each gaze – one from the front of the camera and the other from behind it – that takes the nakedness seriously, will be explored openly yet delicately along with the dimension it opens up .

Burning Magazine Onlineでは、今回のトークショー企画にあわせて、RYOが撮影した渡辺万美の作品の一部を公開。

RYOと渡辺万美によるこの作品から感じられるのは、女性自身が信頼できるチームとともに自らの身体を表現することの、単なる「セクシー」や「美しい」という言葉では捉えきれない力である。

今回の作品に映し出されているのは、ミューズの内側から滲み出る自信。そして、その自信に対して敬意と愛を向ける眼差し。さらに、表現者自身にとっての新たな開拓であり、既存のあり方からの脱皮でもある。

What emerges from RYO and Bambi Watanabe’s work is the power of women expressing their own bodies alongside a trusted team, a power that cannot be fully captured by words like “sexy” or “beautiful.”

What emerges in this body of work is the confidence radiating from within each muse, the gaze of respect and love directed toward that confidence, and a process of exploration for the artists themselves, a shedding of existing conventions and a transformation into something new.
