BURNING MAGAZINE POP UP＆ Exhibition “You’re Stealing My Heart” by Shiori Ota

Burning Magazineにゆかりのあるアーティスト、Lina Suenaert、Madeleine Ray、Natsumi Umehara / 楳原夏美、sari sari vip、sawanoenami / 榎並爽野、Shiori Ota / 大田詩織、Sunam、Tenkou Maら、国内外で活動するアーティストによるZINEや作品が集結するPOP UPストアを開催。

展示スペースでは、『BURNING MAGAZINE』最新号 Issue 04 掲載作品を展示。また、本誌ディレクター兼写真家・大田詩織による展示「You’re Stealing My Heart」も同時開催。

Artists connected to Burning Magazine, including Lina Suenaert, Madeleine Ray, Natsumi Umehara, sari sari vip, sawanoenami, Shiori Ota, Sunam, and Tenkou Ma, come together for a POP-UP store featuring zines and artworks by artists from Japan and abroad.

The exhibition space will also showcase selected works from the latest issue of BURNING MAGAZINE, Issue 04. In addition, a special exhibition, You’re Stealing My Heart, by the magazine’s director and photographer Shiori Ota, will be presented simultaneously.

Lina Suenaert

Lina Suenaertはベルギー出身のビジュアルアーティスト。東京で3年間を過ごした後、現在はロサンゼルスを拠点に活動している。自身で出版するアートブックやジンでは、線画とテキストを組み合わせながら、ユーモアにあふれた物語を紡ぎ出す。彼女の作品は、鋭い観察眼と予想を裏切るユニークな結末によって、読む人を魅了している。

Lina’s Suenaert is a Belgian-born visual artist who, after living in Tokyo for three years, has recently relocated to Los Angeles. She self-publishes books and creates zines, combining line drawings and text to captivate her audience with storybooks filled with humor and unconventional endings.

Madeleine Ray

アメリカ出身で、現在は東京を拠点に活動している写真家Madeleine Rayによる初の写真集。春のソフトでドリーミーな東京の風景から始まり、ぼやけたネオン、ナイトライフのイメージへと続き、最後はメランコリックなシーンと個人的なコレクションで締めくくられる。

Madeleine Ray is an American photographer, artist and writer who grew up in Scotland and Belgium and is now based in Tokyo, Japan. She began using photography as a medium in 2021, and has been focusing on fashion photography through a magical lens using primarily film to tell stories. In early 2026 she started expanding her work through writing and painting to further build out a surreal and personal world in her vision.

Natsumi Umehara / 楳原夏美

京都を拠点に活動するグラフィックアーティスト。アナログとデジタルの手法を柔軟に行き来しながら、見落としがちな日常の断片や、自然をモチーフに、ユーモアと豊かな感受性を交えた作品を制作する。そこにあるのは「その瞬間を真に生きるとはどういうことか」という本質的な問いかけである。本展では、彼女が世界を拡張していくその思考のプロセスを、「ZINE」という手触りのある小さな表現世界へと落とし込む。

Natsumi Umehara is a graphic artist moving fluidly between analogue and digital approaches. Taking subtle fragments of daily life and nature as her subject, she brings humor and sensitivity to her work, providing what it means to be present in the moment. Her exploration of an expanding worldview is encapsulated into a ZINE titled “MOGU MOGU”—a tactile, intimate universe.

sawanoenami / 榎並爽野

大阪生まれ。主にアナログの作品から3DCGまで様々な手法で制作を行っている。ハンドメイドビーズバッグブランド「mizuebag」のビジュアル制作や、CDジャケットへのアートワーク提供などなど。

Born in Osaka, Japan, she works across a wide range of mediums, from traditional analog techniques to 3D computer graphics. Her recent projects include creating visual content for the handmade beaded bag brand mizuebag and contributing artwork for CD album covers, among other collaborations.

Shiori Ota / 大田詩織

大田詩織は、現在日本を拠点に活動する写真家であり、BURNING MAGAZINEのディレクター。彼女の作品では、女性性や身体が、遠慮することなく空間を占有し存在するものとして描かれる。フェミニズム社会学への関心と強い好奇心を軸に、日本社会に深く根付く家父長制的な価値観に向き合いながら、既存の美の基準やジェンダー構造、そしてそれらを形成する「まなざし」そのものを問い続けながら制作を行う。

Shiori Ota is a photographer currently based in Japan and the director of BURNING MAGAZINE. In her work, femininity and the body are portrayed as presences that unapologetically occupy space and exist on their own terms. Rooted in an interest in feminist sociology and driven by strong curiosity, her practice confronts the deeply embedded patriarchal values within Japanese society, while continuously questioning established standards of beauty, gender structures, and the very “gaze” that shapes them.
